POCAHONTAS LTD. EDITION

In the creation of this doll, my intention was to encapsulate the serene scene of Pocahontas amidst the natural beauty of the forest, where towering trees envelop her, and leaves gently dance around her in a tranquil manner. To bring this vision to life, I meticulously illustrated all the elements incorporated into the packaging design.

Our color palette for this project drew inspiration from the warm, coppery orange hues and deep greens that characterize the sunset and forest floor as depicted in the film. In order to replicate the play of light filtering through the trees, akin to the cinematic portrayal, a reverse gradient was employed, diverging from the one featured on Pocahontas' cape. To achieve the desired effect of capturing the interplay of light and nature, we chose to print on matte metallic paper, a decision that enabled us to authentically replicate the atmospheric ambiance of the film.
