MIDNIGHT MAsquerade

Within the realm of the Disney Designer Collection, Midnight Masquerade, our ideation process yielded captivating concepts, one of which revolved around the opulent Venetian ball. In pursuit of this vision, we strategically integrated a mask featuring intricate laser-cut details onto the packaging's front. This mask served a dual purpose, functioning not only as an exquisite embellishment but also as a tangible representation of the masquerade theme, effectively concealing the doll within.

The execution of this project presented formidable challenges, primarily concerning the precise laser cuts and paper thickness. Our objective was to strike a delicate balance, ensuring that the intricate laser cuts remained intact and that the paper's resilience prevented unintended tearing. Additionally, we strived to achieve user-friendliness by designing the packaging in a manner that allowed for seamless removal of the sleeve from the box.

To bring this concept to fruition, I collaborated closely with my esteemed team member, Nina Shahbazi. Nina exhibited exceptional talent in translating our initial concepts into tangible designs, with particular emphasis on the exquisite filigree illustrations that adorn the packaging. Her contribution was nothing short of outstanding, elevating the visual appeal and intricacy of the final product.
