PREMIERE SERIES

I art directed this series with my senior designer, Alicia Lopez. We came up with this idea that stemmed from the character attending their own film premiere. As if they’re a real life movie star & we put in each box a small movie poster from the actual first releases of the film & created tickets for the dates of their actual premiere date. We added a red carpet on all the platforms of the boxes and the outfits and hair styles are styled in the time period of the release of the film.

I added this one to my portfolio instead of in art direction because I illustrated many of the graphics on these boxes, including the paparazzi in two different time period-specific clothing, the tickets, some of the poster art, and the majority of the framing on the windows of these boxes. Tiana & Belle’s were illustrated with pencil and scanned for texture. All the frames are time period specific as well, like the deco framing Alicia created above.
