DISNEY X SAKS 5th AVE
This marked the inception of a trilogy of premier-tier dolls meticulously conceived and crafted exclusively for Saks Fifth Avenue. This particular doll was conceived to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the cinematic debut of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs." Notably, these collector's dolls commanded retail prices in excess of $1,000.
In my role, I meticulously sketched and designed intricate filigree patterns, delicate floral motifs, and iconic apples to harmonize with the distinctive branding of the 80th Anniversary. The result was a harmonious fusion of artistry and nostalgia.
Witnessing these resplendent creations displayed within the opulent windows of Saks Fifth Avenue, alongside the serene reinterpretation of Snow White, was an immensely inspiring experience. It was a testament to the enduring magic of the story and a celebration of artistry and craftsmanship in the world of high-end retail.
The packaging for the doll was thoughtfully presented alongside the Snow White couture gowns, strategically showcased within the esteemed Saks Fifth Avenue store windows during the holiday season. Notably, the gown featured on the right-hand side of the display was designed by the renowned fashion designer, Monique Lhuillier.
